Blog Commenting Strategy – Open Thread + Video

Blog Commenting Strategy

Hey guys and gals,

Happy Friday!

After throwing out a comment on a great post about blogging and finding the time (via Marcus Sheridan, the Sales Lion), I wanted to do something a little different, so I made a video post.

Blog commenting strategy has been on my mind a lot lately. I am always torn between posting a thoughtful comment that adds to the conversation, just to have one out there, or if I should only comment on those posts which I am most passionate about.

Take a look at it and let me know what your thoughts are.

By the way, I apologize for the lighting and the movement, apparently my webcam can’t quite keep up with 2 cups of coffee…

So what are your thoughts?

Here are a few more questions to think about before you respond down in the comments section:

Should you comment on every single post, meaning, try to come up with something good to say to add to the conversation each time, or should you reserve your opinions to those topics which you are passionate about and interested in?
